DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS
Deep vein thrombosis is a serious clinical picture and may cause loss of patients due to clinical manifestations such as pulmonary embolism, serious changes in the leg called postthrombotic syndrome or cutting of the leg.
One of the most feared clinical consequences of deep vein thrombosis is pulmonary embolism, which can have serious consequences that can result in death.
After the diagnosis is made by ultrasonography, Doppler or computed tomography, the clot can be dissolved or taken out of the body according to the clot stage, so that the vein current can be restored.
Such methods include melting the clot with a variety of specially designed catheters, using specially designed catheters that disintegrate the clot or take it out of the body, balloon disintegration of the clot, and stenting in places with stenosis, or various combinations thereof.
